Analysis
Our take: 4GB covers most projects, such as Home Assistant, Pi-hole and retro emulation. 8GB+ only makes sense for desktop use or heavier containers.
Don't skip: the official 27W USB-C PSU and an active cooler. Under-voltage and thermal throttling cause most of the 'my Pi is unstable' problems.
Verdict
The 4GB board is £105.60 at The Pi Hut. Budget extra for a power supply and storage.
